This custom 1966 Ford Bronco half-cab pickup is powered by an
upgraded 300ci 4.9-liter inline-six engine equipped with a Clifford
6=8 Performance Package and paired with a three-speed automatic
transmission. Chrome-tipped dual exhaust outlets are fitted. A
custom-built front bumper incorporates two recovery hooks, while
the rear features a receiver hitch. Exterior details include a
vintage chrome windshield visor, bullhorn hood ornament and
diamond-plate accents on the bed rails and license plate holders.
The refreshed interior features new glass, new carpeting and a
reupholstered bench seat with new seat belts. Diamond-plate trim is
incorporated into the door panels, carpet rails, glove box cover
and lockable radio cover. Additional interior equipment includes a
chrome barefoot accelerator pedal, chrome steering column, billet
aluminum column mount, retro-style aftermarket tachometer in a
billet aluminum holder, retro-style Bronco floor mats, billet
aluminum door locks, an under-seat floor safe and custom toolboxes.
Additional features include flame-shaped brake-light covers and
billet aluminum accents. This original U14 half-cab was No. 2009
off the Ford production line in August 1965 during the first month
of the first production run of the early Bronco.
