For sale by a private party is this very original and unmodified 1989 Chevrolet C4 Corvette in the factory Red Metallic paint backed by the 5.7 L Tuned Port Fuel-Injection and backed by a 6-speed manual transmission. This was the age of the “Digital Dashboard” for the Corvette and everything on this car appears to function. For the majority of its 77,000-mile life it is believed to have been garage kept and never in an accident. The Carfax is clean and includes a car cover.

Power for this C4 is the stock 5.7 L Tuned Port Fuel-Injected Chevrolet V8 boasting 245 horsepower (L-98). It starts easily and performs well. The 6-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly and the clutch engages easily.
The Red Metallic paint is in very good condition for being 37 years old with no repaints and a few chips and scrapes (see photos). The only cracking is near the rear license plate area (photo).
The factory interior with the standard leather seats is in excellent condition with no evidence of broken seams or tears. None of the plastic simulated wood grain panels appear cracked. Current owner is a non-smoker. The factory Delco BOSE AM/FM/CD sound system with 4-speaker stereo and power antenna functions normally too. The prior owner added a radar detector with sensors up front which appears functional. The heat and A/C system functions and still uses R12 refrigerant.
The suspension has not been changed or modified and the P275/40ZR/17 Goodyear (Fulda) unidirectional tires have about 5,000 miles on them since being replaced in 2019.
It should be noted that the heat & A/C blower motor always stays on. The owner believes it is a relay which needs to be replaced.
If you are looking for an excellent, well-maintained example of the C4 Corvette era this 1989 is the one for you.
