Reportedly prompted by the owner's wife to part with the car, the first owner sold this 356 for approximately $3,000. Lifelong residents of Michigan, the current owner can recall falling in love with his uncle's Porsche at a young age. One of his favorite memories was riding in this 356 B through the hills of Ann Arbor, Michigan on their way to the "Big House" to watch a University of Michigan football game. He hardly remembers the game but does remember being captivated by this Porsche's impressive speed and the way it conquered the curves and hills effortlessly. The timeless Reutter coupe body was stripped to bare metal and received a repaint in Signal Red and features chrome wheels with Porsche-crested hubcaps, Michelin Defender tires, and a bright engine grille.
