In 1977, it was acquired by its long-term owner, Mr. Dave Koswoski of Canada. His beloved muscle car, he treated it to an extensive photo-documented body-off-the-frame restoration. This Cutlass is accompanied by a large file of invoice records that details each item, date of purchase, and price; the restoration was completed in 2007 and totaled over $75,000, a hefty amount for the period. A truly beautiful outcome, the body was finished in Sunrise Yellow, the inner fenders were painted red, a new white convertible top was added, and the interior was inlaid with deluxe ivory bucket seats. The body of this Oldsmobile received a W-30 appearance package that included correct badging, a W-30 fiberglass Ram Air induction with air cleaner assembly, and white rally stripes.
