1965 PONTIAC GTO FRAME OFF RESTORED, PHS DOCS., TRI-POWER, 4-SPEED,
PS, PFDB This 1965 presents itself beautifully with its great
exterior color Starlight Black. It has a very nice clear coat
finish on a clean rust free body. Looking down both sides it is
straight. The front and rear bumpers have been re-chromed to a show
finish. The stainless trim, grills, mirror, door handles, tail
panel and tail light bezels have been polished or replaced with
new. It rides on a set of correct Rally 1 wheels with new trim
rings, center caps and newer radial tires. The interior is new from
carpet to headliner. The seat upholstery, door panels, armrests,
pads, headliner, visors and carpet have all been replaced. It has a
factory wood steering wheel. Looking at the dash: it has the
optional Rally gauges and tach, the wood grain on the dash is in
great shape, new dash pad, front seat belts and a retro AM/FM radio
(that plays well). The engine compartment is nicely detailed with a
completely rebuilt 389 cubic inch engine, Butler hydraulic roller
cam and a factory tri-power setup on top of it! The wiring harness
has been replaced along with all the brake lines. It also features
a 4-core radiator, new power steering box, pump and rag joint. It
has correct chrome air cleaners, factory chrome valve covers, power
steering, upgraded new cadmium plated brake booster with new dual
master cylinder and hood insulation. The engine compartment is
nicely finished in a satin black and very detailed. The
undercarriage is nicely detailed. The floors are all clean and
original metal and have a nice coat of satin black paint. Looking
up at the bottom of the motor it is clean as well as the Muncie
4-speed transmission. All the front end components and all the
bushings appear to have been replaced. The E-brake cable assembly
is complete and working. There is a new 2.5" dual exhaust system
that runs all the way to the back and exits out both sides with
correct exhaust splitters. The gas tank and sending unit have been
replaced. The trunk compartment is very nice with a spare steel
wheel and jack assembly along with a trunk mat and spare tire.
There is new weather stripping and the jacking instructions decal.
It has a light coat of gray trunk spatter paint for a nice clean
factory look. This is a very nice 1965 Pontiac GTO! It really
stands out from all the rest with its color, looks, sound and
