1 Owner, 3000 mile, 2014 Harley Davidson Breakout
This Breakout was purchased brand new from Mike's Famous Harley Davidson dealership in Groton, CT by the current owner.
He wanted something different than your average cruiser, but he also didn't want to take a chance on a custom bike built by some local or even nationally known shop, he wanted a warranty, someone to call if something went wrong, etc. He saw the Breakout and felt that was his bike. To make it stand out from the crowd, he ordered in Hard Candy Chrome which is a huge black and chrome metal flake type paint. The thing is blinding in the sunlight. Very few were painted in the Hard Candy metallics and even fewer in the Hard Candy Chrome.
The owner would take it out regularly but usually only locally, so total miles are less than 3000 - 2987 to be exact.
He went with the 103 CI V-Twin as he felt he didn't need the larger engines.
The only option he went for was the detachable rear seat/back rest bar.
He didn't want to go too crazy with add-ons, so the only changes he made were to smoked front blinker lenses and Flaming Eagle red spark plug wires.
The owner is meticulous and has kept this bike in his garage, covered, dusted, and with regular maintenance.
The FXSB Breakout edition came standard with the 103/1700 V twin, air cooled engine - with sequential port fuel injection, 4 piston caliper in front, 2 piston rear, belt drive (brakes feature optional ABS), drag bars, low profile tank console, chopped fenders, massive Harley Davidson branded Dunlop 240/40/R18 rear tire and a 21 inch HD branded Dunlop 130/60 front tire. Wheels are cast aluminum in a "gasser style". It also features the hidden softail set up, for a slightly more comfortable ride than a hardtail.
The oil was changed in prep for the sale.
Turn the key, press the button and the engine fires immediately to life rumbling in a way that is distinctly Harley. Hop and roll out. Turn the throttle back and if you'r not holding on, you're gone, the humongous rear tire grabbing traction. 0-60 times are around 4.5 seconds.
The owner is selling because unfortunately, too many people he knows have had issues and his wife will not go out on the bike with him anymore and is a nervous wreck when he goes out alone, it's time to sell it.
Along with the bike comes a slew of accessories - a custom bike cover, 2 helmets (full face HJC and a HD skull cap), oil filters, filter wrench, PCSun sunglasses, original owner's manual, operation CD/DVD, 3.5 quarts of Harley Davidson 20/50 oil, an HD mug, HD detailing kit, HD funnels, 2 new HD spark plugs, the original wires and binler lenses, leather fork bag, and of course, the Gremlin bell - gifted to the new owner so it won't lose it's powers.
You will be hard pressed to find a set up like this anywhere else. Super LOW mileage, meticulously maintained, Harley Davidson drag bike, plus all the gear.
