Exterior Highlights
The exterior of this GTO is incredibly nice, it features very slick Nightshade green paint that is fresh and looks amazing. The body on the car is very straight, this vehicle was originally from Arizona, dry and salt free environment. The car features the awesome Endura bumper with the very popular, and fully functional, hideaway headlights. The chrome bumpers and all bright work on the car is in excellent condition. The car has the iconic hood featuring the double hood scoops. The vehicle features an excellent set of originally optional Pontiac Rally II wheels with PMD center caps and new trim rings. The vehicle has an excellent set of Cooper Cobra radial tires with plenty of life left. The vehicle is equipped with a driver side rear view mirror. The vehicle has all proper GTO badging that are in excellent shape. This vehicle looks great in the pictures but looks as good or better in person, it is a spectacular car. Interior Highlights:
The interior, like the rest of the car is excellent. The interior features the super sporty black vinyl bucket seat interior that is in excellent condition. One of the main highlights of the interior is the unmistakeable 4-Speed Hurst shifter. The dash is in excellent shape, with a full compliment of original gauges, including the odometer that functions properly and reads 74,959 miles at the time of this listing. The dash also has a factory dash tachometer. The vehicle is also equipped with an auxiliary set of gauges for water temp, battery voltage, and and oil pressure. The headliner is in excellent shape including the sail panels. The vehicle has seat belts with front shoulder belts. The carpet is like new, and the door panels are excellent. The woodgrain bezel is in excellent shape and highlights the dash. The dash pad is crack free and in excellent shape. The vehicle has an original Delco AM/FM radio. The trunk is as clean and nice as the rest of the car and features a spare tire.
Mechanical Highlights
Mechanically this car is as nice as the rest of the car with the original 400 V8 being stock rebuilt with an E268 competition cam to give it the right sound. The engine was rebuilt by a professional Pontiac restoration shop. The engine compartment is highly detailed and very well sorted. The vehicle is equipped with a freshly rebuilt Muncie 4-speed transmission that shifts smoothly. The vehicle has power steering and power front disk brakes. The vehicle is equipped with a Pypes exhaust system that sounds awesome and looks awesome the chrome tips exiting the rear of the car. The rear end is a 3:90 posi-traction that was also rebuilt as part of the build. The undercarriage of the car is super nice and clean.
