What a time to be alive! Post WWII Art Deco styling with highly
progressive aerodynamic look with sweeping body lines. It was also
the very first production car that was wider than it was tall and
the hood could be opened from both sides with a cool latching
system. This car has undergone a professional restoration not that
long ago and a mechanical going through just a couple years ago.
This Packard runs, drives and stops as good as it looks. The paint
is amazing and the rest of the car is tidy including engine bay,
interior and trunk along with the underside of the car being very
presentable. I think these cars are beautiful but there was some
mixed review when they first came out with some people labeling
them the "pregnant elephant" or a "bathtub". Furthermore the L-Head
8-cylinders in these cars were not only powerful for the time but
extremely quiet and smooth offering a very comfy and quiet cabin
and ride. We welcome any questions or inspections here in our
Traverse City location.
