GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this beautifully restored
1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu for your consideration. This
Chevelle comes in a beautiful Aztec Bronze exterior over a restored
Black interior and has just 10,321 miles showing on the odometer,
since the restoration was complete. Powering this Malibu is its
original 283 cubic inch V8, which was rebuilt with multiple
upgrades including a mild camshaft, 1969 Z/28 intake, MSD ignition,
and Hedman ceramic-coated headers flowing into a custom exhaust.
The engine is paired with a rebuilt TH350 automatic transmission.
This Chevelle was restored by Northwest House of Hardtops in 2015
and received extensive mechanical and cosmetic attention during the
restoration. Additional features and upgrades include a new Holley
600 carburetor, new Dewitt radiator, fresh fluids in 2025, American
Racing wheels, new power steering, rebuilt suspension, bucket seats
with center console, all-new black vinyl upholstery, a new white
power convertible top, aftermarket tachometer and gauges, and a car
cover. This is a beautifully restored Malibu that combines classic
Chevelle styling with thoughtful performance upgrades and excellent
drivability. Drive this one out of our showroom or have us assist
with shipping it to you anywhere in the United States! Don't
hesitate to call us with any questions or for more information.
The 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle was part of the second generation of
Chevrolet's popular intermediate car, which was introduced for the
1964 model year. For 1966, Chevrolet gave the Chevelle a
significant styling update, featuring more sculpted body lines, a
distinctive semi-fastback roofline on the sport coupes, and a more
aggressive overall appearance. The Malibu served as the upscale
trim level of the Chevelle lineup and was offered in a variety of
body styles, including the popular convertible. Chevrolet offered
several V8 choices for 1966, including the 283 cubic inch
small-block, making the Chevelle a versatile combination of
everyday usability and classic American performance. The Chevelle
would go on to become one of Chevrolet's most iconic muscle-era
nameplates, with the model gaining even greater performance
credentials in the years that followed.
