Presenting a most fabulous specimen of this 2+2 fastback. Rangoon red, 289 High performance, 4sp manual transmission with Rally Pak, manual front disc brake Mustang. This car is a matching numbers, low mileage K code car. All three VINs are matching and correct. Original top loader 4-spd transmission, also with matching VIN. The grille corral is included, but not installed.
It has a correct restored 1965 under-dash A/C unit. The York compressor was replaced with a modern compressor, but the York mounting was utilized, so if you want a correct A/C system, just get the compressor. The rest of the system is correct.
Performance mods include Traction Loc rear end, 2.5" Magna Flow stainless exhaust system, Traction Master traction bars,
Cobra Automotive dual bowl brake master cylinder, and Vario camber kit. It has the period correct export brace with evenly spaced mounting holes.
This is a rare unit ordered for performance. It is a rare version without the GT package. The GT is mainly for looks, not actual performance oriented. Only around 100 were built. This could be the only original one left. Most are severely altered by now.
