This is a 1963 C2 corvette. It features a 3 speed manual transmission and a 327 v8 carbureted engine.
The car was extensively restored in 2008 including a new frame and engine, transmission and interior overhaul.
mechanically speaking, the car is in excellent shape and looks brand new from inside and underneath. The paint is not original and is a single stage job that has some wear and tear from over the wears. The paint is worn where the convertible top sits and there are polisher burn throughs on some of the edges as well as minor paint marker fixes throughout.
The car features lap belts, no power steering and no power brakes, making for a truly mechanical driving experience. The car starts right up with a pump of the pedal and runs very reliably. It also features a rare and hard-to-find convertible hard top which was a dealer option in 1963.
The convertible top was replaced this year and is brand new, the wiring was replaced in 2008 and ha also been gone through, an electrical grounding issue to the brake lights was repaired this year as well.
