This OBS 1996 Ford F250 XLT Supercab is a clean Montana truck with
a great color combination. This is a 2 owner truck that spent time
between Colorado and Montana. The original owner used this truck to
haul hay and horses until 2025. She sold it because she was going
to haul more weight so she bought a newer Diesel Pickup. The body
is clean and straight. The Ebony Black and Light Opal Metallic
Paint is a great color combination and still looks great. It
appears to be original with the exception of the tailgate which was
repainted because of some damage. It does have new body side
moldings installed but the rest of the chrome and trim is original
and nice. The underside is extremely clean and you can still see
the original primer on the floors. We found no rust issues with
this truck.
The interior is original and very nice. The seats, carpet, door
panels, dash, and dash bezel are original and nice. The headliner
was professionally replaced and is excellent. The headlights,
taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The
gauges all work. It has tilt wheel but the cruise is not working.
It has working power windows and power locks. The horn and
windshield wipers work. The heat and AC work. It has an aftermarket
stereo that is working as well.
Mechanically this truck is excellent and it runs and drives great!
The engine is the 7.5L 460 V8 that runs strong with no issues that
we found. It is completely stock and has a newer radiator and
starter. It has the M50D 5 Speed Manual Transmission that shifts
great with a strong clutch. It is mated to the Borg Warner Manual
Transfer Case and the 4WD works like it should. The rear axle is
the Ford 10.25 with 4.10 gears and a factory limited slip. The
front axle is the Dana 44 TTB with 4.10 gears. Some recent
maintenance includes new shocks, new ball joints, and new
transmission mount. It is sitting on Ford Factory Steel Wheels with
Michelin tires size 185/85/16.
This is an awesome rig for someone!!! We drive what we sell so that
we can give you a first hand and accurate report on how the vehicle
runs and drives. Our pictures are never touched up or photoshopped.
What you see is an accurate representation of the vehicle. We take
consistent pictures and show you everything so you can get a true
representation of the vehicle.
