options list? This 1948 Chevrolet Fleetline is a great fit! With a
more modern LT-1 5.7-liter V8 engine under the hood, a 700R4
automatic transmission and a custom two-tone paint, all for under
$25,000, you can't go wrong!
The exterior is a unique Copper Metallic and Creme paint scheme
with American Racing Torque Thrust wheels and custom pinstriping.
The 48 Chevy has great curves that are accented with chrome and
polished pieces everywhere you look. From the grill to the bumpers,
front and rear fenders, emblems, lights, mirrors, and even the dual
exhaust exiting the rear glisten in the sun.
Open one of the doors and you'll be greeted by a fully custom
interior. Bucket seats, a center console with modern radio, tilt
steering column with cruise control (untested), A/C, power windows,
and two-tone interior.
Under the hood, that 350 V8 isn't just ready to go, it's also ready
to show! Plenty of chrome, polished, and billet pieces including
the A/C compressor, Wilwood master cylinder and booster, finned
valve covers, braided lines, and alternator. You'll also see
headers bolted to the engine which run to dual exhaust with
mufflers for a nice rumble without overpowering the cab.
The trunk is utilitarian but shows the care that was taken with
wiring the vehicle. That is also where you'll find the red top
Optima battery, and the computer for that modern engine. This is a
smart place for the computer to be kept cool and dry! The underside
is solid and clean and shows well for an entry level priced
cruiser.
