EXTERIOR: It certainly makes an impression. In fact, I've never
seen this color combination before, yet it works incredibly well.
The body is show quality- laser straight with excellent fit and
finish throughout. The doors close with a gentle push, a true sign
of quality. Finished in a stunning combination of turquoise and
mocha metallic, the paint is polished to a smooth, glass like shine
that draws attention from every angle. The chrome and stainless
trim appear to have been restored or replaced and present
beautifully. All of the glass has been replaced and features a
subtle smoke tint, while the weatherstrips have been replaced as
well. LED taillights add improved safety without taking away from
the classic styling. Sitting proudly on 18-inch US Mag wheels
wrapped in BFGoodrich g-Force tires, this '56 has an aggressive
stance and a look that stands apart from every other Tri-Five on
the road.
INTERIOR: Oh my God, this interior is amazing! It's the part of the
car that everyone falls in love with, and it's first class all the
way. Premium genuine white leather upholstery is used throughout,
accented beautifully with mocha colored inserts. The custom molded
door panels, sport bucket seats, and full length center console
create a luxurious, custom tailored appearance. The driver's seat
is power, and the leather wrapped console extends to the rear seat
area, giving the impression of four individual bucket seats. All of
the interior metal trim is painted as slick and glossy as the
exterior. Modern gauges are neatly integrated into the dash, while
a touchscreen stereo is conveniently mounted in the console above
the cup holders. The sound system plays through hidden speakers in
the kick panels and a custom designed rear package tray. It also
features power windows, color matched seat belts, matching carpet,
and custom floor mats trimmed with white piping. Comfort is
enhanced by a Vintage Air system, cleverly integrated using
controls that resemble the original equipment and housed in a
custom panel beneath the dash. The color matched leather wrapped
steering wheel is mounted on a polished tilt column, and overhead
you'll find a fully custom upholstered headliner with an LED dome
light. The craftsmanship is exceptional throughout, and the moment
you open the door, the rich aroma of genuine leather lets you know
this interior is something special.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It starts with a Gen III all aluminum 5.3-liter
LS engine that's been upgraded with a Trick Flow cam and topped
with a Magnuson supercharger, delivering an estimated 525
horsepower. A set of coated headers helps maximize performance,
while custom color matched engine covers featuring Chevrolet
emblems give it a clean, finished appearance. The front of the
engine is equipped with a modern serpentine belt system that drives
the air conditioning, alternator, and power steering. Cooling is
handled by a complete PRC system, including a large aluminum
radiator, matching core support, condenser, and intercooler. Dual
electric fans pull plenty of air through the system to keep
temperatures in check. The engine compartment itself is beautifully
detailed, with slick paintwork throughout, billet hood hinges, and
a Wilwood master cylinder. It's a show quality engine bay with the
power and reliability to back up its appearance.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is just as impressive as the interior. In
fact, it's fully finished to match the custom cabin. The underside
of the deck lid has been upholstered, and the trunk itself has been
boxed and trimmed with the same attention to detail found inside
the car. Matching mocha carpet gives it a rich, finished
appearance, while the battery has been neatly relocated behind a
custom panel to keep everything clean and uncluttered.
UNDERSIDE: The body was removed from the frame during the
restoration. The underbody is clean, rust free metal coated in a
color matched chip guard, while the chassis is detailed in black
for a crisp, professional appearance. The suspension has been
extensively upgraded for modern handling and ride quality. Up front
are tubular control arms, adjustable coilover gas shocks, 2 inch
drop spindles, and upgraded rack-and-pinion steering. In the rear,
a four link suspension with tubular control arms and adjustable
coilovers keeps the car planted. The braking system has been
upgraded with Wilwood drilled and slotted disc brakes at all four
corners. A custom stainless exhaust system features a crossover
pipe and MagnaFlow mufflers, providing both performance and a great
sound. The fuel system has been replaced and is compatible with the
fuel injected drivetrain. Looking up at the engine, you'll find a
Holley oil pan and a high torque starter mounted to the aluminum LS
powerplant. A 4L60E overdrive automatic transmission sends power
through a new driveshaft to a rear end equipped with 3.55 posi
gears. This modernized chassis delivers the handling to match the
car's show quality appearance.
