--Red over Black Leather, Black carpeting and White convertible
top, V8 GM Crate Engine, 4-Speed Manual Transmission, Long term
collector ownership, Service - ownership histories, Updated with
factory side pipe exhaust and Edelbrock aluminum intake
manifold. Originally a long term California example, this
Stingray made its way to Sydney, Australia. Circa 2005 this
Corvette was by the Jeff Dutton Garage and in restored form. It was
then sold to its next collector, a good client and friend of
Autosport Designs, Inc. who at the time lived in Sydney. This
Corvette would remain in this ownership and care until
2023. In 2010, this Corvette Stingray was reimported to
the United States by Autosport Designs, Inc. for its owner and upon
his relocation to Westchester, New York. Since that time,
it has been serviced with Autosport Designs as well as other
well-known vintage sportscar specialists. In recent years, the
Stingray was treated to a complete and thorough repaint, a full
servicing, front end rebuild as well as a new radiator and is thus,
fresh and extremely clean. In 2023, this Corvette was
traded to Autosport Designs, Inc. along with a Mercedes 280 SL also
purchased from us towards a Porsche 356 B Twin Grille Roadster.
Subsequently, the Corvette was sold by Autosport to its next
Corvette collector owner, a resident of New Jersey. Today,
this Corvette remains in outstanding condition throughout. It has
been used and enjoyed in seasonal weather conditions, never in
inclement weather and housed in a climate-controlled environment
along with several other Corvettes. On a recent road test,
this Corvette Stingray performed as one would expect from a
properly owned and cared for example and is ready for immediate use
and enjoyment. This Corvette comes complete with a large ownership
and service history file-folder.
