This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette convertible features a
matching-numbers powertrain, including the engine, transmission and
rear end. The L78 396/425hp V-8 engine is paired with a four-speed
manual transmission and a 3.55:1 Positraction rear end. Delivered
new to Lang Chevrolet in Xenia, Ohio, it has undergone a
comprehensive restoration finished in the original color of Silver
Pearl with a black convertible soft-top. The restored black
interior is equipped with a factory AM/FM radio and original
teakwood steering wheel. It also features a correct side-pipe
exhaust, power steering and four-wheel disc brakes, and rides on
restored date-code-correct factory knock-off wheels with new
white-stripe bias-ply tires. A total of 1,409 1965 Corvette
convertibles were equipped with the 396/425hp (RPO L78) engine
