This 1961 Volkswagen 23-window custom microbus re-creation is
powered by an air-cooled four-cylinder engine producing
approximately 65hp, paired with a restored four-speed manual
transmission. A performance-style shifter provides quick, precise
gear changes. Mechanical upgrades include an aluminum crankshaft
pulley, alternator pulleys, a new carburetor, distributor, ignition
coil, spark plugs and ignition wires. The suspension, steering and
braking systems were completely restored using new, genuine
Volkswagen components, and the electrical system was upgraded to 12
volts. It rides on new tires mounted to 15-inch RDW Classics sport
wheels with a 5x205 bolt pattern and has a slightly lowered
suspension. Restored by A&J Revival, the Volkswagen received
structural, mechanical, electrical and cosmetic work that included
comprehensive body restoration, sheet-metal replacement and a
rotisserie restoration. It is finished in two-tone Volkswagen Lotus
White and Mystic Green with a high-end paint finish. Exterior
features include the 23-window configuration, a large retractable
panoramic canvas sunroof and a split windshield with dual
chrome-trimmed safari-style front openings. The interior was
completely refurbished, with the original seating restored using
new springs and foam, then upholstered in eco-friendly Emerald
Green and Mystic Green vinyl with traditional Volkswagen-style
stitching. Ivory-white door panels and a matching headliner
complete the cabin. It is accompanied by certification and
supporting documentation from Volkswagen do Brasil. **TITLE BRANDED
