This 1961 Volkswagen 23-window custom microbus re-creation is powered by an air-cooled four-cylinder engine producing approximately 65hp, paired with a restored four-speed manual transmission. A performance-style shifter provides quick, precise gear changes. Mechanical upgrades include an aluminum crankshaft pulley, alternator pulleys, a new carburetor, distributor, ignition coil, spark plugs and ignition wires. The suspension, steering and braking systems were completely restored using new, genuine Volkswagen components, and the electrical system was upgraded to 12 volts. It rides on new tires mounted to 15-inch RDW Classics sport wheels with a 5x205 bolt pattern and has a slightly lowered suspension.
