This customized 2010 AM General M1123 HMMWV is powered by a crate
6.2-liter LS3 V-8 engine equipped with a performance Hot Cam and
paired with a heavy-duty 4L80E 4-speed automatic transmission with
a 3,000-rpm stall lockup converter. The drivetrain includes a
rebuilt transfer case, rebuilt front and rear differentials,
rebuilt portal hubs and an upgraded fuel system. An upgraded
cooling system, transmission cooler, power-steering cooler and
custom exhaust system are also installed. The suspension was
professionally upgraded by Xtreme Hummer Performance at a
documented cost of nearly $37,000 and features 3.0-inch ADS
remote-reservoir coilovers with adjustable compression, fabricated
lower control arms, billet upper control arms, a 3-inch body lift
and a four-wheel alignment. Wilwood four-piston front brakes
provide stopping power. The exterior has been repainted deep black
and features LED headlights, LED taillights, auxiliary lighting,
heavy-duty bumpers, side steps, fender flares, upgraded hood
hardware, hard aluminum doors, upgraded door hardware and new glass
and seals. It rides on 20-inch Black Rhino wheels wrapped in
37-inch Nitto Ridge Grappler tires. The new interior features
reclining front seats, a custom center console, Momo steering
wheel, air conditioning and defrost, front and rear
air-conditioning vents, a digital instrument display, push-button
gear selector, digital rearview mirror, USB charging ports and LED
interior lighting. Sound-deadening material is installed throughout
the cabin. A premium audio system and large media and navigation
touchscreen provide entertainment, connectivity and navigation
functions. This frame-off build also includes a complete
24-volt-to-12-volt electrical conversion, battery relocation,
American Autowire wiring harness and numerous new steering,
braking, cooling and driveline components.
