For Sale at Auction: 1968 Ford F-500 in Las Vegas, Nevada

This custom 1968 Ford F-250 is powered by a 460ci big-block V-8 engine sourced from a 1968 Lincoln Continental and paired with its rebuilt original C6 automatic transmission. The engine features an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, aluminum intake manifold, mild camshaft and short-tube headers. Power is delivered to the original Dana 60 rear end with 3.55 gears. It has dual exhaust, Camper Special Flexomatic leaf springs and KYB shock absorbers installed in 2026. Factory power brakes include front discs and rear drums. The truck retains its unrestored special-order Highland Green paint, which has received touch-up repairs, and its build tag has no color code. Exterior equipment includes complete Ranger trim with a replaced passenger bedside trim piece, reproduction chrome front and rear bumpers, satin-finished stainless-steel mirrors for a 1968 fastback mustang from Scott Drake, original 16x6 Ford steel wheels powder-coated Corinthian white, polished hubcaps and Michelin all-terrain tires. The original Camper Special telescoping rear bumper and stainless-steel tow mirrors accompany the truck. The original interior features factory air conditioning updated in July 2026, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, power steering, an AM/FM radio with cassette player and two under-seat speakers. The original AM radio also accompanies the truck. Additional equipment includes two factory fuel tanks operated by a manual switching valve, an overhead rear cargo light, original Ford Carlite glass, rear sliding window, under-seat jack tools and an under-bed spare tire. The rear auxiliary tank fuel-gauge sending unit is stated to be inoperative. The truck was originally sold in Los Angeles and spent its first five decades registered and operated in Southern California. Documentation accompanies the truck, which is stated to have had two owners, with the first retaining it for 50 years.
