1956 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery in Las Vegas, Nevada

This custom 1956 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery is powered by a 350ci V-8 engine paired with an overdrive automatic transmission with a shift kit. The engine features a four-bolt-main block, steel crankshaft, mild RV cam, steel cylinder heads with roller-tip rocker arms, finned aluminum valve covers, a chrome Edelbrock fuel pump, 650-cfm carburetor on an Edelbrock Torker intake manifold, finned air cleaner, one-wire alternator and a stock Chevrolet HEI distributor. Cooling is provided by a desert cooler radiator with a pusher electric fan. Hedman headers feed Thrush Hush Turbo mufflers. An All American wiring harness is installed. The front suspension features 2-inch drop spindles with new bushings on the stock A-arms. Front and rear sway bars are from Classic Chevy, while stopping power is provided by front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. This car rides on American Wheels Hoopster 15-inch aluminum wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich tires that are two years old. The exterior is finished in a custom-mixed Prowler Orange with additional metallic flake, complemented by Corvette Silver on the remaining panels and separated by Bel Air quarter-panel trim. Additional exterior features include new weatherstripping, new wind lace felt, new outside mirrors and a surfboard rearview mirror. The engine bay is finished with larger metallic flake, and the inner fenders are powder-coated in matching Corvette Silver. New horns from Danchuk are installed. The interior features a four-passenger configuration upholstered in brown HushMat, Bel Air rear armrest panels with factory ashtrays, factory hand pulls, coat hooks, an LED dome light, a four-speaker rear stereo system, custom front kick-panel speaker pods, 1955 dash trim, a tilt steering column and intermittent windshield wipers with the motor relocated beneath the dash. The rear cargo area features a flush-fitting spare tire access panel. This vehicle was acquired as a one-owner Midwest barn find in 1974, and a build book is included. The restoration was completed seven years ago and has accumulated approximately 7,000 miles since completion.
