This four-wheel-drive 1972 Chevrolet K10 custom pickup is powered
by a GM 454ci crate V-8 engine upgraded with Edelbrock aluminum
cylinder heads, Holley electronic fuel injection and a hydraulic
roller camshaft. The engine is backed by a 4L80E four-speed
automatic transmission connected to a dual-range transfer case.
Power is sent through replacement front and rear differentials with
3.73 gears and a limited-slip rear axle. A dual exhaust system
features Flowmaster mufflers. The chassis has a 4-inch suspension
lift, power steering and manually locking front hubs. Front power
disc brakes provide stopping power. The K10 received a
comprehensive frame-off restoration and is finished in its
factory-correct white and Medium Blue (542) color combination with
black bodyside and tailgate moldings, side steps, a diamond-plate
rear step bumper and 454-style badging. It rides on KMC
beadlock-style wheels wrapped in 35-inch tires. The restored cabin
features blue and houndstooth upholstery, Vintage Air climate
control and a push-button-style radio.
