This 1968 Ford Mustang Bullitt re-creation is powered by an
upgraded 390ci FE big-block V-8 engine mated to a Toploader
four-speed manual transmission and 8-inch rear end. It is equipped
with Wilwood front disc brakes. Professionally finished in
Bullitt-correct Highland Green, it features new or refurbished
exterior trim, painted signal light and side-marker bezels,
dual-exhaust rear tips, a blacked-out rear tail panel, rear backup
light delete, a blacked-out gas cap and deleted exterior antenna,
passenger-side mirror, fender emblems and grille emblem. It rides
on brand-new Torq Thrust-style wheels and tires. The
factory-correct interior has been completely restored and features
a Hurst four-speed shifter, deluxe wood-grain interior, correct
three-spoke steering wheel with Shelby Cobra center cap and a
Bluetooth stereo system. The engine compartment is highly detailed.
The restoration was photo-documented, and the album is included
with the car. It began life as an authentic 1968 Mustang Fastback,
as documented by the Marti Report, and was restored to replicate
the details of the movie car from "Bullitt." It also includes a
professionally assembled Bullitt/Steve McQueen movie wall display
poster with signatures from actors Steve McQueen and Robert Vaughn.
