This custom 1951 Chevrolet 3600 pickup is powered by a 350ci V-8
engine paired with a Hurst five-speed manual transmission. The
engine features a chrome air cleaner and valve covers, a serpentine
accessory drive and an aluminum radiator. Four-into-one headers
feed a polished dual exhaust system. The truck features independent
front suspension, rack-and-pinion steering, and power-assisted drum
brakes. Finished in Bahama Blue during a recent frame-off
restoration, the exterior features a chrome grille and bumpers, an
adjustable period-correct windshield visor, dual side mirrors,
running boards, turn signals, hooded headlights and a receiver
hitch. The refinished pickup bed has stained wood slats with black
metal runners and matching wooden stakes on the bedsides and
bulkhead. The restored cab features a bench seat upholstered in
brown vinyl, a rubber floor mat, Hurst shifter, Vintage Air climate
control and lap belts. Classic Instruments gauges include a 140-mph
speedometer and combination gauge. A theft-prevention kill switch
is mounted beneath the seat. Rides on chrome 17-inch Pacer wheels
mounted with new whitewall tires.
