This 1965 Ford Thunderbird Landau is powered by a 390ci V-8 engine
paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. The engine has
been rebuilt with reworked cylinder heads to accept modern
gasoline. The transmission has had new seals installed and the
carburetor has been rebuilt. Additional mechanical service includes
new belts, a rebuilt steering box and new brake cylinders. Finished
in Bronze with a Cream interior, this Thunderbird features a Landau
roof and a plaque mounted on the dashboard stating the car was made
for country singer Conway Twitty. The sale includes a copy of the
front of the 1989 Tennessee title in his name.
