Vehicle Description

This custom 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle is powered by a GM Performance LS1 V-8 engine built by Jeff Piper of Harvey's Automotive & Machine using a GM Performance aluminum block and Dart PRO1 aluminum cylinder heads. Internal components include Eagle H-beam forged connecting rods, Race Tech forged pistons, JE piston rings, a Comp camshaft and valve springs, Comp Endure-X roller lifters, shaft-mounted rocker arms and a DM Performance main girdle. Additional equipment includes a Holley Terminator X Max EFI fuel management system, a custom polished aluminum intake system, Billet Specialties LT Modular ribbed valve covers, a Holley oil pan, Melling high-pressure oil pump, Tru Trac serpentine system, Powermaster Performance alternator, Detroit Speed wiper motor, Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, billet clutch reservoir, Wizard aluminum radiator with dual SPAL electric cooling fans and ceramic-coated long-tube headers. In March 2025 an oil change was performed, and the spark plugs were replaced. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKO 600 five-speed manual transmission, a McLeod Racing twin-disc hydraulic clutch and a Moser full-floating 9-inch rear end with a Detroit Truetrac differential, 31-spline axles, billet hubs and 3.70:1 gearing. A stainless-steel fuel tank is fitted, and the 3-inch polished exhaust system incorporates an H-pipe, Borla Pro XS mufflers and oval exhaust tips. The floors are finished in a black textured coating. The car rides on a black-finished Schwartz Performance chassis equipped with power rack-and-pinion steering, tubular upper and lower control arms, sway bars, a four-link rear suspension and Ridetech adjustable coilovers. Stopping power is provided by Wilwood six-piston front and four-piston rear disc brakes with 13-inch drilled and slotted rotors, a Retrofit Innovation electric brake booster, a Wilwood master cylinder and an E-Stopp electric emergency brake. The exterior is finished in Dark Green Metallic with ghost racing stripes. The factory emblems were shaved, and the doors were modified with Kindig-It Design flush-mounted door handles. Additional exterior features include an electronic cowl-induction hood with hood pins and custom vents, front spoiler, LED headlights, tinted door and quarter glass, flush-mounted Fesler tinted front windshield and rear window, and Boze Forged Cruiser 18-inch front and 19-inch rear wheels mounted with Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires. The interior features sixth-generation Camaro power bucket seats and a custom-contoured rear bench upholstered in brown and dark green Brazilian leather. Matching upholstery extends to the custom one-piece headliner, sun visors, dashboard, full-length center console, kick panels, door panels and rear package shelf. Additional features include brown carpeting, power windows, a Klassic Keyless start and locking system, LED dome lighting, Clayton Machine pedals, Hurst billet shifter, billet aluminum interior handles, Vintage Air climate-control system, Alpine stereo system and a Billet Specialties 14-inch Formula steering wheel mounted on an Ididit tilt steering column. Replacement instrumentation consists of a 160-mph speedometer, an 8,000-rpm tachometer and auxiliary gauges for voltage, fuel level, coolant temperature and oil pressure. The boxed trunk is upholstered in matching leather and features aluminum decklid hinges and a removable side panel that provides access to the relocated X2Power AGM battery. Driven 447 miles since the 2025 restoration, this muscle car also includes more than $330,000 in receipts.
