For Sale at Auction: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro in Las Vegas, Nevada

This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 is powered by its matching-numbers DZ302 engine paired with its original Muncie four-speed manual transmission and a 3.73 Positraction 12-bolt rear end. The engine has a matching VIN stamped by the oil-filter boss, and the transmission has a VIN stamped on its case. The drivetrain has never been removed from the car and has been certified as original by Jerry MacNeish of Camaro Hi-Performance. The engine retains its correct carburetor, intake, heads, smog equipment, exhaust manifolds and pulleys, and has not been cleaned or detailed. The unrestored body retains its Code 72 Hugger Orange paint, factory orange overspray on the floor pans and original chalk marks on the firewall. It has its original wheels with correct caps and trim rings, all original date-coded glass, rear-mounted antenna, straight headrest seats and no spoilers. The Code 711 black interior retains its original carpet, seat covers and door panels. The gauges, dome light, door buzzer and column reverse lock are operational. The car has no tachometer, console or additional gauges. It was built during the first week of November 1968 and delivered on Nov. 16, 1968, with the engine assembled on Oct. 25, 1968. This early non-X-coded Norwood-built car was sold new by C&D Chevrolet Inc. in Mount Gilead, Ohio, and remained with its original owner until entering a private collection. It retains its original 1969 Ohio license plate and C&D Chevrolet Inc. frame. Documentation includes the original Protect-O-Plate, books and manuals, and a copy of the original title. 32,356 miles (title reads exempt).
