This R-Code 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 428 CJ is powered by its
matching-numbers 428 Cobra Jet V-8 engine with Ram Air paired with
its matching-numbers close-ratio four-speed manual transmission.
During its restoration, it was upgraded to Super Cobra Jet
specifications using original Ford parts, including the Drag Pack,
a W-code 4.30 Traction-Lok differential, staggered shocks, an oil
cooler, oil lines and dual high- and low-tone horns. It is equipped
with power front disc brakes. The exterior is finished in black and
features rear window louvers, tinted glass and Goodyear Polyglas
raised-white-letter tires. The interior is trimmed in the black and
red stripe decor option and includes a sport deck rear seat and an
AM/FM radio. Additional documentation includes a detailed Marti
Report and the original fender tag.
