This 1954 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is powered by its original
factory 235ci Blue Flame inline six-cylinder engine featuring three
Carter side-draft carburetors and paired with a Powerglide
two-speed automatic transmission with a floor-mounted shifter. One
of 3,640 Corvettes produced for the 1954 model year, this car
received a comprehensive restoration that included an engine and
transmission rebuild. The exterior was repainted dark brown and
fitted with a new cream-colored folding soft-top. It rides on
15-inch wheels with full wheel covers mounted with American Classic
wide whitewall tires. The interior was replaced with a new original
reproduction interior and includes a Wonder Bar radio. The restored
side curtains are stored in the factory trunk-mounted bag, and the
car includes its original factory jack. Originally delivered to
Harry Mann Chevrolet in Los Angeles, California, this
well-cared-for three-owner Corvette has remained in California
throughout its life. It has been kept indoors and driven sparingly
since its restoration. About 2,000 miles accumulated since the year
2000. 52,791 miles (title reads exempt).
