For Sale at Auction: 1968 Ford Mustang in Las Vegas, Nevada

This 1968 Ford Mustang "Bullitt" re-creation is powered by a 302ci V-8 engine and a three-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. Originally built as a C-code Fastback, it was refinished and debadged to resemble the car driven by Steve McQueen in the movie "Bullitt." A dual-circuit master cylinder and chrome valve covers have also been installed. The automatic transmission received a fluid change, and the kick-down mechanism was repaired under current ownership. The car is equipped with a dual exhaust system featuring a crossover pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. The front strut rods and bushings were replaced, and the car is equipped with front disc brakes. The exterior was refinished in Highland Green Metallic and fitted with a Bullitt-style replica Yankee Metal Products driver's-side mirror. The interior was redone with black bucket seats, color-coordinated carpeting, a Pioneer stereo, modern speakers and an under-dash air conditioning unit. An aftermarket split-spoke steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer, along with auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature and amperage. It rides on 15-inch American Racing Torq Thrust wheels wrapped in Firestone tires. Previous service includes a cleaned carburetor, replaced spark plugs, oil change and repaired electric choke wiring.
