This custom 1956 Chevrolet Nomad is powered by an upgraded
custom-built 350ci V-8 engine mated to a Turbo 350 automatic
transmission. It is equipped with Vintage Air climate control, a
new four-barrel carburetor, new dual stainless-steel exhaust system
with new mufflers and a new power steering unit. The front end was
completely rebuilt and features new front power disc brakes with a
dual master cylinder and replaced brake lines. Finished in the
correct Twilight Turquoise exterior with Ivory White trim, it also
features new glass, rubber and felt for all doors and windows. The
exterior is further updated with new chrome front and rear bumpers,
taillights and grille. The interior includes new seat cushion pads,
new side and door panels and new carpet with Dynamat
sound-deadening throughout. Additional interior features include a
new retro-style AM/FM/Bluetooth radio designed for a 1956
Chevrolet, a new quartz clock and a new classic instrument panel.
The cargo area has been fitted with newly installed custom polished
stainless steel. One of approximately 7,886 Nomads produced for
1956.
