For Sale at Auction: 1963 Chevrolet Corvette in Las Vegas, Nevada

Vehicle Description

Known as "Redline," this Pro-Touring 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Custom Split-Window Coupe was handcrafted by Troy Lundquist Restorations to high-show quality standards and completed in 2022. It's been decorated with prestigious awards that include First Place and Top 10 at Autorama, along with Best Street Machine at ISCA (pictures of the awards are included with the sale). This example is one of only 10,594 Corvette Split-Window Coupes ever built. The original factory GM body was restored on a rotisserie focusing on the structural integrity, fit and finish, including reinforcement of known C2 stress points. The laser-straight body with precise gap lines was finished in Firecracker Red. The fenders were decorated with "Fuel Injection" red, white and blue crossed-flag emblems. This Corvette was outfitted with all glass and trim pieces throughout. It rolls on Schott Mach 5 18-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels that are mounted to Michelin Pilot Sport 4S red-line tires. The rear was modified with 4-inch mini-tubs to accommodate the massive rear tires. Inside, a custom interior by Dale Hancock Upholstery blends period-correct design with contemporary comfort featuring saddle leather and black suede. The headliner was trimmed in tan suede, and the floors were covered with matching German-weave carpeting. The custom sport leather seats were made from the original C2 seats and modified to accommodate taller drivers. Some interior features include Dakota Digital gauges, Flaming River tilt steering column, Billet Specialties Victory 14-inch steering wheel, a Vintage Air climate control system, power windows, and a full-length center console with cup holder and storage. The sound system includes a Custom Autosound radio, JL Audio amplifier and speakers. The immaculate engine compartment is home to the GM Performance 376ci LS3 that's factory-rated with 525hp. The engine was outfitted with original-style Corvette black finned valve covers and a custom cold-air intake. The engine breathes through custom stainless headers and a dual exhaust system with MagnaFlow polished mufflers and resonators. The engine is cooled by a Griffith aluminum radiator with dual SPAL electric fans. The engine is coupled to a GM Performance 4L70E automatic transmission. A switch on the center console puts the transmission into performance mode. The power is transferred to the Strange Ford 9-inch limited slip rear end with Strange 31-spline axles and 3.73 gears. The body sits on a new Art Morrison chassis that was powder-coated black. The floors were refinished in high-gloss black. It's equipped with power rack-and-pinion steering, stainless fuel tank, tubular upper and lower control arms, four-link rear suspension, Strange coilover adjustable shocks, and Wilwood power four-wheel disc brakes with red calipers and drilled and slotted rotors. This vehicle has been serviced and detailed which is documented with an invoice. From the MS CLASSIC CARS Collection.
