Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is proud to digitally present
this 1969 Plymouth Satellite, a classic Mopar muscle car that
combines bold styling with big-block V8 performance.
This 1969 Plymouth Satellite is a serious Mopar performance build
combining classic styling with proven big-block power and upgraded
drivetrain and braking components. The current owner has proudly
owned the car since 2007, and it has been thoughtfully equipped
with a strong selection of performance-focused upgrades.
Under the hood is a 440 cubic-inch big-block V8 featuring a
serpentine belt conversion kit and an MSD 6A ignition system.
Exhaust cutouts provide the ability to open up the exhaust note
when desired, giving the big-block plenty of presence.
Power is sent through a 727 automatic transmission equipped with a
reverse manual valve body, operated through a B&M Pro Ratchet
shifter for precise control. Out back, a Dana 60 rear axle with
3.55 gears provides a durable foundation for the car's
performance-oriented drivetrain.
Stopping power has been upgraded with a front disc brake conversion
paired with a Mancini Racing master cylinder, providing a
significant improvement over the original braking
configuration.
The Satellite's exterior has received a PPG two-stage paint finish,
complemented by a fiberglass hood with scoop and fiberglass front
and rear bumpers. REV aluminum wheels complete the
performance-inspired appearance.
