For Sale: 1935 Ford Model 48 in North East, Pennsylvania

Vehicle Description

1935 Ford 35 For SaleThis 1935 Ford Model 48 five-window coupe is a full restomod build completed between roughly 2007 and 2010 by Dreamers Rods & Pickups N.W. of Everett, Washington. Finished in a two-tone combination of matte black over a metallic lime green, the car pairs a traditional coupe silhouette with a serious late-2000s performance build underneath, backed by original shop invoices documenting the drivetrain, chassis, and suspension work.Power comes from a 5.7L LS1/LS6-based crate engine (346 cubic inches, 10.1:1 compression, 3.90 x 3.62 bore and stroke) built with a Magna Charger Radix intercooled supercharger system, rated at 530 horsepower and 575 lb-ft of torque on pump gas. The build sheet includes a performance camshaft, double-roller timing chain with billet gears, ARP rod bolts, and Manley chromoly pushrods, retainers, and heavy-duty valve springs, along with an AN-fitted fuel system (fuel rails, EFI pump kit, pre-filter, and regulator) and a 5-wire ignition setup running coil packs and a Delphi ECM with TurnKey calibration on a custom marine-grade wiring harness. Block-hugger headers, a K&N air filter, and a serpentine belt system round out the package, which was invoiced at just over $16,000 in 2007. Power routes through a Hi-Tech 700-R4 automatic transmission fitted with a kickdown kit, also installed at the time of the build.Underneath, the front end was converted to a Heidt's Superide II independent front suspension a kit built specifically for 1935-40 Ford chassis with new rotors, bearings, seals, calipers, pads, and brackets installed along with it. Out back sits a Coleman 9-inch rearend on Strange aluminum 31-spline axles, torn down, blasted, and repainted, with a Yukon Traction-Loc locker assembly, freshly set-up 3.90 gears, and a rebuilt housing. Coilover shocks with 250-lb springs handle the rear ride, and an M2300/Motorspeed brake kit was added as part of the same rear end work.Inside, the car runs a Classic Instruments analog gauge package for oil, water temp, fuel, volts, RPM, and speed. A custom switch panel to the left of the steering column controls the intercooler/supercharger fan, engine cooling fan, and wiper motor, with a separate switch for the Race Ready Performance electric exhaust cutouts. Another switch operates a motorized rear seat that folds up and down. The hood latches on the driver's side.Records with the car indicate a previous owner acquired it with approximately 4,176 miles showing and had the transmission rebuilt shortly after. It shows 5,075 miles currently modest use for a build of this depth.NFI Empire specializes in classic, exotic, modified, and luxury vehicles.
