2016 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider Convertible For SaleThis 2016 Alfa Romeo
4C Spider is a rear-drive, carbon-fiber-tubbed example of Alfa
Romeo's return to the U.S. market, finished in white over a red
leather interior and optioned from the factory with the Track
Package. The car shows 57,000 miles.Power comes from Alfa's
1.75-liter turbocharged inline-four, the same 237-horsepower, 258
lb-ft engine used across the 4C lineup, paired with the 6-speed TCT
twin-clutch automated transmission and paddle shifters sending
power to the rear wheels only. The factory exhaust has been
replaced with a custom setup, giving the 4C's already vocal
turbo-four a louder, more aggressive voice than the stock system
allows. This car carries Alfa's genuine 2016 Track Package, which
brought firmer performance shocks, larger front and rear sway bars,
carbon fiber exterior mirrors, and a flat-bottom performance
steering wheel with red stitching, the setup Alfa built for drivers
who intended to spend real time on track. The factory wheels and
tires have since been swapped for a set of 18-inch Advan RS-III
racing wheels wrapped in Falken Azenis RT660 tires, a track-proven
combination that suits the car's Track Package underpinnings.
Inside, the red leather cabin is paired with an Alpine Bluetooth
head unit for audio, keeping the 4C's minimalist cockpit functional
without cluttering it.The 4C was Alfa Romeo's first model sold in
the U.S. in over two decades, built around a one-piece carbon-fiber
monocoque tub, a construction method more commonly found in cars
costing several times as much. The Spider added a removable roof
panel starting in 2015, and 2016 carried the platform into its
second year largely unchanged. Between the factory Track Package
and the upgrades made since, this is a 4C set up for someone who
actually intends to drive it the way Alfa built it to be driven.NFI
