Offered for sale is a beautiful 1965 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport,
a genuine factory SS verified by the VIN (166). Finished in its
original Willow Green exterior (Factory Paint Code HHA) with a
Light Fawn bucket seat interior, this classic is a well-preserved
survivor that has been cared for throughout its life.
Under the hood is the original, date-coded 283 V8 engine, cast on
December 18, 1964, with engine stamp T1218GF, paired to its
original Powerglide automatic transmission. The rear axle carries
the DB 3.36 non-posi gearing, making this an authentic,
numbers-correct style drivetrain combination.
Equipped with desirable factory options including power steering,
power brakes, and factory air conditioning, the A/C blows cold and
makes this Impala an enjoyable cruiser. The original interior has
been exceptionally well preserved and presents beautifully for its
age, retaining its authentic character. An AM radio is still in
place, with a period-correct FM receiver mounted under the
dash.
This survivor has received just one repaint while maintaining its
original appearance. The exterior shows very well overall, with
only one small scratch/blemish on the driver's-side quarter panel
(see photos). It also rides on four brand-new tires.
Whether you're looking for a weekend cruiser, a local show car, or
an authentic Super Sport to add to your collection, this 1965
Impala SS is an excellent opportunity. It runs and drives great,
offering the classic styling, comfort, and reliability that have
made these cars so desirable.
