2005 Aston Martin Vanquish S V128,017 Miles | Offered at $107,500K2
Motorcars is pleased to offer this exceptionally low-mileage 2005
Aston Martin V12 Vanquish S, presented on consignment with just
8,017 miles.Introduced for the 2005 model year, the Vanquish S
represented the ultimate evolution of Aston Martin?s original V12
Vanquish and occupied the very top of the marque?s lineup. Its
naturally aspirated 5.9-liter V12 produces 520 horsepower and 425
lb-ft of torquean increase of 60 horsepower over the standard
Vanquishand sends power to the rear wheels through a six-speed
electro-hydraulically controlled manual transmission operated by
steering-column-mounted paddles.With a quoted top speed exceeding
200 mph, the Vanquish S was the fastest production Aston Martin
ever built at the time of its introduction. Aston Martin further
distinguished the S with revised gearing, a quicker steering
response, firmer suspension tuning, upgraded six-piston front
brakes, a more open grille, an aerodynamic front splitter, and a
redesigned rear decklid that improved high-speed stability.Designed
by Ian Callum, the first-generation Vanquish remains one of the
most recognizable and beautifully proportioned modern Aston
Martins. Its construction was equally special: a bonded and riveted
aluminum structure, carbon-fiber transmission tunnel, composite
structural elements, and hand-finished superformed aluminum
exterior panels. Each example required approximately eight weeks to
build at Aston Martin?s historic Newport Pagnell factory.Only 2,589
first-generation Vanquish models were produced across all versions
from 2001 through 2007. Of those, 1,489 were the earlier
460-horsepower Vanquish; fewer than 1,100 examples of the more
powerful Vanquish S were built worldwide. The model?s historical
significance is further elevated by its status as one of the final
series-production Aston Martins hand-built at Newport Pagnell
before the celebrated factory's new-car production concluded in
2007.The Vanquish also earned an enduring place in popular culture
as James Bond?s Aston Martin in Die Another Day, introducing this
unmistakable design to audiences around the world. The Vanquish S
refined that celebrated platform into its most powerful, capable,
and desirable form. With only 8,017 miles, this 2005 Vanquish S
represents a compelling opportunity to acquire a remarkably
low-mileage example of Aston Martin?s flagship grand tourerone that
combines naturally aspirated V12 performance, limited production,
hand-built British craftsmanship, and genuine significance within
the marque?s history.Offered on consignment by K2 Motorcars for
$107,500.Contact K2 Motorcars for additional information, service
