This 2000 Chevy Silverado 2500 LS Extended Cab is a rust free 2
owner truck that spent its life in Arizona. This is the last year
of the OBS Chevy trucks and this one appears to have been well
cared for. The body is clean and straight. It has been repainted
because of clear-coat peeling and paint fading from the Arizona
sun, but the Olympic White paint looks great now. They added new
body side moldings as well. The rest of the chrome and trim is
original and nice. The inside of the bed is in great condition. It
has newer headlights and taillights to compliment the new bodyside
moldings and paint. The underside of this truck is super clean as
you would expect from an Arizona vehicle. We found no rust issues
with this truck.
The interior is super nice and clean. It appear to be all original.
The seats, carpet, door panels, dash bezel, and headliner are all
original and excellent. The dash has a new cover installed. It has
WeatherTech Floor Mats. The headlights taillights, brake lights,
and turn signals are all working. The gauges all work. It has tilt
and working cruise control. It has working power windows and power
locks and working power mirrors. The horn, windshield wipers, and
factory stereo are working, The heat and AC also work.
Mechanically this truck is excellent and it runs and drives
wonderful. The engine is the original 7.4L 354 Vortec V8 that runs
strong with no issues or red flags that we found. It appears to be
all stock. It does have nice sounding Flowmaster dual exhaust
installed. It has the 4L80E Automatic transmission that shifts
great. It is mated to the np261 transfer case and the 4WD works
like it should. The rear axle is the Corporate 14 Bolt with 4.10
gears. The front axle is the IFS with 4.10 gears. It does have
newer shocks installed and it is sitting on a beautiful set of
factory HD aluminum wheels with All terrain tires size
265/75/16.
