This 1974 Chevrolet C10 is far from your average pickup. Built in
the spirit of the classic street machines of the 1970s, this single
cab short bed has been transformed into an aggressive muscle truck
that delivers big-block attitude with small-block reliability.
Finished in a vibrant bright orange with bold black racing stripes
and SS emblems, this C10 commands attention everywhere it goes.
From its lowered stance to its performance-oriented drivetrain,
this truck was built to be driven and enjoyed.
The exterior presents exceptionally well and is complemented by a
tonneau cover that gives the bed a clean, finished appearance.
Sitting on iconic American Racing Torque Thrust wheels with a
staggered tire setup, the truck wears Nitto performance tires up
front and Toyo Proxes tires in the rear, providing both aggressive
styling and outstanding traction. The paint and body are in
excellent overall condition with only minimal imperfections, making
this a truck that shows just as well as it drives.
Under the hood is a professionally assembled 383ci stroker
Chevrolet V8 built for serious performance. The engine features
Blueprint cylinder heads, Manley valvetrain components, Brooks
pistons, Howard connecting rods, a performance crankshaft,
Edelbrock-style dual open-element air cleaner, MSD ignition, and a
Brawler 650 CFM four-barrel carburetor. The combination delivers
outstanding throttle response, a healthy idle, and plenty of
horsepower to back up its aggressive appearance. Power is
transferred through an automatic transmission equipped with a shift
kit and controlled by a B&M floor shifter, providing crisp,
positive gear changes. Out back, a 3.83 geared rear axle helps put
the power to the pavement, while the wheelie bar setup completes
the truck's classic street machine personality.
Inside, the truck features a clean black leather bench seat that
complements the exterior perfectly. The original dashboard has been
retained, preserving the truck's classic appearance while
aftermarket oil pressure, fuel pressure, and water temperature
gauges mounted beneath the dash allow the driver to closely monitor
engine performance. An AutoMeter tachometer mounted on the
windshield keeps engine RPM easily visible during spirited driving.
The dash lighting is controlled by a dedicated toggle switch, and a
separate toggle switch operates the electric cooling fan, giving
the truck a true race-inspired feel.
Functionality hasn't been overlooked either. All headlights,
taillights, brake lights, and turn signals operate properly, and an
auxiliary LED light bar mounted beneath the rear of the bed
provides additional brake light visibility. The front retains its
factory chrome bumper, while the rear has been cleaned up with a
painted roll pan, giving the truck a sleek and modernized
appearance.
The underbody is just as impressive as the top side, remaining
exceptionally clean and showing no signs of rust or corrosion. It
is evident this truck has been well cared for and built with
attention to detail. The odometer currently reads 67,453 miles,
although the mileage on the performance drivetrain is unknown.
