Collectible Motorcar of Atlanta is proud to present this
extensively upgraded 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse Premium, finished
in Oxford White and showing approximately 4,260 miles. Already one
of the most capable factory Mustangs ever produced, this Dark Horse
has been taken to another level with a professionally installed
Whipple supercharger and a comprehensive collection of Steeda
suspension, chassis, intake, and exhaust upgrades.
At the center of the build is Ford's 5.0-liter Coyote V8, now
equipped with a Whipple Stage 1 3.0-liter supercharger system. The
Whipple package was purchased and professionally installed by
Steeda, with the documented supercharger-related invoice totaling
more than $15,500. Additional upgrades include a Whipple open-air
intake box and high-flow air filters, helping the supercharged
engine breathe more efficiently.
Power is transferred through Ford's 10-speed automatic
transmission, combining rapid gear changes with relaxed highway
drivability. The Dark Horse was engineered as a serious performance
platform from the factory, and the Whipple system dramatically
increases its straight-line capability while retaining modern fuel
injection, electronic controls, and everyday usability.
The chassis has been extensively upgraded to complement the
additional power. Steeda MagneRide dual-rate lowering springs give
the Mustang a more aggressive stance while retaining the advantages
of the factory adaptive suspension. Steeda Competition front and
rear sway bars, adjustable front and rear end links, and a
professional four-wheel alignment further sharpen the car's
handling response.
The rear independent suspension has also received Steeda's
Stop-the-Hop components, including rear IRS subframe support
braces, a subframe bushing support system, alignment components,
billet aluminum vertical links, and adjustable rear toe links.
These upgrades are designed to improve rear suspension stability,
reduce unwanted movement, and help the car put its supercharged
power to the pavement more effectively.
A Steeda stainless resonator-delete H-pipe gives the Coyote V8 a
more aggressive exhaust note while retaining the factory-style dual
exhaust layout. Together, the Whipple power upgrade, reinforced
IRS, revised sway bars, and lowered MagneRide suspension create a
substantially more focused performance package than a stock Dark
Horse.
The Mustang rides on factory Dark Horse 19-inch wheels backed by
large blue Brembo brake calipers. Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires
measure 305/30ZR19 in front and 315/30ZR19 in the rear, providing a
wide, planted footprint. A Discount Tire receipt documents more
than $2,100 spent on the Michelin tire package.
Visually, the Oxford White finish is contrasted by matte-black hood
graphics, a functional center hood vent, dark exterior trim,
aggressive front aero, side skirts, and the large Dark Horse rear
wing. Dark Horse fender emblems and model-specific details complete
the unmistakable appearance.
Inside, the Dark Horse Premium cabin features black upholstery with
distinctive blue contrast stitching, deeply bolstered front
seating, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and Dark Horse badging
across the dashboard. A wide digital instrument cluster and center
touchscreen place vehicle data, drive settings, navigation,
entertainment, and performance information directly in front of the
driver.
The original window sticker shows an MSRP of $71,350 before the
extensive aftermarket investment. Receipts supplied with the car
document approximately $18,645 in Steeda and Whipple parts and
labor, plus approximately $2,168 in Michelin tires-bringing the
documented upgrades and tire investment to more than $20,000.
With its low mileage, Whipple-supercharged Coyote V8, 10-speed
transmission, Steeda-engineered chassis upgrades, MagneRide
suspension, Brembo brakes, Michelin Pilot Sport tires, and premium
Dark Horse presentation, this Mustang offers serious performance
without sacrificing the technology and refinement expected from a
modern flagship muscle car.
