the 1980's, the ASC McLaren Mustang. The ASC McLaren Mustang was a
collaboration with Ford, the American Sunroof Company and McLaren
with approximately 1,800 built over three years. These unique
Mustangs were highly modified examples of the popular Fox Body
style Mustang GT. Modifications from ASC-McLaren include custom
built convertible top and interior changes making this a sporty two
seat convertible. Various body changes include a larger rear deck
lid and special edition body panels. It is powered by the famous
Ford 5.0L / 302ci V8 engine with an automatic transmission. The
current owner purchased the vehicle in 2012, and it currently has
76,000miles. Work since 2012 has included a new canopy top and a
new sending unit. In 2013 Rust proofing undercoating was performed.
The wiper motor was replaced in 2019 and in 2022 the water pump and
alternator were replaced. The owner states that is has been kept
