NO RESERVE. This 2001 Ford 350 Super-Duty was originally special ordered for MBNA to be its main tow vehicle for its antique auto collection. No expense was spared at the time of ordering and it is one of the most highly desirable set-up for this type of vehicle even to this day. Donated to Owls Head, this truck as been a long time hauler for museum vehicles to concour's shows, expos, and has participated in two Great Races as a support vehicle. Under the hood this truck is equipped with the legendary 7.3L Power Stoke diesel engine with a 6-speed manual transmission. The engine runs extremely strong and with the manual transmission has plenty of torque for heavy loads and cruise at highway speeds. The quad cab interior is extremely spacious and loaded with options. The Lariat package comes with tan leather seats, power windows and lock, a/c, front bench with fold down console to create the bucket seat feel. For the early 2000's, this was the high end option for this type of vehicle. Currently the frame is showing rust in key areas between riveted on bracketry. Overall, the frame is moderately solid, but rusting and jacking between bracketry needs to attention in order to take an inspection sticker.
