NO RESERVE. This 1993 Ford Super-Duty ramp truck has been a long
time service vehicle at the Owls Head Transportation Museum. It was
originally part of the MBNA antique vehicle transport fleet before
being donated to OHTM in the early 2000's The truck is powered by a
7.3L diesel with a Side-Winder turbo. The engine is a certified
remanufactured engine that was installed prior to coming to the
Museum. It is unknown how many of the 140,972 miles are on the
current remanufactured engine. Museum use has been relatively local
in its ownership. Transmission is a 5sp manual. On the rear is a
Chevron hydraulic roll back car carrier body. Within the last two
years the hydraulic ram and needed hoses were rebuilt. Overall, the
issues with the truck are cab and mount related. Cab mounts and cab
structure are tender and will need addressing to take an inspection
sticker, as well as radiator mounts. A very solid truck with an
extremely useful ramp body for the right person to address the
needed improvements. All proceeds from this sale will directly
support the mission and legacy of the Owls Head Transportation
Museum. Sold with a registration.
