Exterior
You can't get much more monochromatic than this; stem to stern covered in black. Even the side marker lights are smoked, making them nearly invisible is a sea of inky black paint. The windows are tinted and both the quarter windows and rear window are covered with plastic louvers. Lower body cladding takes on a more satin finish but does not veer from the hue, and 20-inch wheels go whole hog on the gloss and get wrapped in ZR rated tires with a mid 2022 date code. Alas, a flash of color is found out back in the form of quad tail lights, modest reverse lights, and bold nickel bezels for the big chrome exhaust tips. Badging and call outs? Blacked out. The SLP heat extraction vent in the hood? Matte black. It's all very attractive and clean. Imperfections include scratches and swirl marks throughout, inclusions, scuffs, orange peel, rock spray, and chin scrapes.

Interior
Glossy gray inserts dress the robust black door panels and other than some scuffs, they both present nicely. Inside, it's black leather bucket seats up front with embroidered SS on the headrest in, you guessed it, black! Our rear 2+2 area is rendered a bit more cozy with the window louvers creating ultimate privacy and it's all spotless back here. A fantastic ergonomic steering wheel fronts dual gauges up front flanking an info screen while the center stack takes on buttons for the AM/FM/CD radio and red rimmed A/C knobs along with another blue lit digital screen. A stout Hurst shifter now resides in the center console along with the Z28 inspired four pack of gauges over black carpet and WeatherTech mats, under a clean headliner. The trunk is also clean and ready to accept your groceries!

Drivetrain
Under the hood, a clean 6.2 liter LS3 V8 highlighted by orange accents and a Vararam tuned air induction system. The powerplant puts out a whopping 400 horsepower and is mated to a Tremec TR6060 6-speed manual transmission with a newer McLeod clutch kit. Power is routed to the rear axle with 3.45 gears and limited slip.

Undercarriage
The clean but driven underside includes dual exhaust that meet at an X-pipe then travel through Borla S-type mufflers before exiting out back. Power disc brakes occupy all four wheels with Brembos up front. The fully independent suspension consists of coil springs front and rear with a 4.5 link in back.

Drive-Ability
The Borlas provide a healthy rumble out back as we let the injection do its thing for a quick start to this big V8. On the test loop, the car hints at obvious power underfoot with great shifting and throttle response, good handling, and no sweat stopping. The A/C blows cool but not cold and all other functions inside and out operate just as intended.
