Commemorative Edition models were offered to honor the success of the Corvette C5-R racer and to close out the final year of the C5 generation. All Commemorative Editions featured LeMans Blue exterior paint, crossed-flags embroidery on the seat headrests, unique commemorative wheel center caps, and silver front and rear emblems with inserts commemorating Corvette's success at Le Mans with the words "Commemorative 24 Heures Du Mans 2 GTS Wins."
Commemorative Editions were only produced in 2004, and only 2,659 Convertibles were built. These limited editions were created to honor the success of the Corvette C5-R race car and celebrate the final production year of the C5. They featured LeMans Blue paint, crossed-flags embroidered seat headrests, commemorative wheel center caps, commemorative front and rear emblems, and unique silver crossed flags on the interior waterfall panel exclusive to the Convertible, along with additional factory commemorative trim.
