As you will see in the pics this Turquoise ’69 Bronco has great eye appeal. This is a Bronco Sport which means it got the additional chrome trim around the windshield, window frames, and grill plus the Sport Emblems. This one also has the body side moldings. I bought this from a gentleman in NC who owned it about a year and kept it at their lake house to enjoy with the family. They were buying some property and needed the money ore than the toy so I scooped it up. The owner before him was in Florida and did all of the restoration work from 2019-2024 and there are extensive receipts and notes documenting what was done. Evidently the 302 V8 was rebuilt shortly before this by another owner. This is what I would call a driver plus quality restoration meaning it was not restored to be a trailer queen show truck but was done well and would be a Bronco any owner will be proud to drive and show off at local cruise ins and shows. There are some very small dings, and minor paint blemishes. Any rust was taken care of properly with new metal and I believe it had new rockers and floorpans based on receipts. The paint job was done a little over 3 years ago and I have the paint code info. The doors fit great and do not stick out like so many do. It also has the chrome removable door hinges if you want to drive it with the doors off. Step up bars were also added. Front bumper shows some age and there are holes at the top of the bumper guards where fog lights were mounted at one time. It received a brand new white Rampage soft top with zip out windows. Custom covers over the vent holes on the hood are bolted on and easily removable if desired. The gray painted grille with the Red FORD letters really pops nicely and there are upgraded headlights for better night driving vision. Matching Spare on original spare tire holder.
Complimenting the Turquoise exterior is a very nice Parchment white interior. Original front bucket seats and original rear bench seat look great. Front seats were recovered and rear might be original with minor wear on the back. The entire tub was treated in body colored bed liner which looks great and makes it really easy to clean out when needed. Of course a mat or carpet kit could be added if desired. A Krawlers Edge Family Style Roll cage was painted body color and installed and 3-point seat belts for driver and passengers were also added. Vintage Air Conditioning for those in the warmer climates and it works great. A tach was installed in the dash column and nice aftermarket steering wheel installed. steering wheel. Really nice custom stereo installed in dash that has bluetooth and rear back up camera. Twin stick 4wd transfer shifters from Toms Broncos were also added. It is still a 3-speed manual on the column which works well with the usual amount of play in an older shifter. Aftermarket center console with cup holders and storage. All Gauges work and an aftermarket oil pressure gauge is mounted under dash. Overall the interior looks great and has some great features
This ’69 Bronco Sport runs really nicely with a very strong 302 V8 engine that we were told was rebuilt prior to the restoration. Based on records from the restoration it is estimated that there are just a few thousand miles on it since the rebuild. Although I do not have all the details on the motor build I would say it has a slight cam and is a pretty stock build. It does not leak any oil and was a very clean install and the engine bay looks very nice. Power steering with Saginaw pump and Power front disc braes were added. Aluminum radiator keeps it running cool. Great tone from the dual flow master exhaust as you can hear in the video below. New main and auxiliary fuel tank and hoses installed and fuel gauge and under seat tank switch work properly. 2″ suspension lift with black diamond shocks. It is riding on a nice set of 31″ x 10.5 BFG All terrains on a nice set of Aluminum wheels and has matching spare. It runs down the road nice and straight and was set up nicely and pulls strong.
The undercarriage is very solid with no rust issues. I believe floorpans were replace and were done well. I have a MARTI report showing this Bronco started life in Colorado and was a special order coral metallic color. Again, this is a very nice driver quality Bronco ready to be driven and enjoyed by its next lucky owner…maybe you!!!?
Be sure to watch the video for a walk around tour and start up.
