LS1 Corvette V8 • Art Morrison Chassis • Professionally Built •
Investment Quality
Carolina Muscle Cars is proud to offer this exceptional 1957
Chevrolet Bel Air Hardtop Resto-Mod, an extraordinary blend of
iconic American styling and modern performance engineering.
Professionally built with premium components throughout, this
stunning Bel Air combines the unmistakable appearance of
Chevrolet's legendary Tri-Five with the drivability, comfort,
reliability, and performance expected from today's finest
custom-built automobiles.
Originally built as a desirable factory VC-code V8 Bel Air, this
no-expense-spared restoration was commissioned in Florida for a
retired airline pilot and transformed into an investment-quality
Resto-Mod utilizing some of the industry's finest components. From
its professionally engineered Art Morrison chassis to its
dependable LS1 Corvette powerplant, every aspect of this build was
carefully planned to create a Bel Air capable of winning awards
while remaining comfortable enough to drive anywhere.
Finished in stunning Torch Red over India Ivory, the laser-straight
body is complemented by exceptional chrome, beautifully polished
Bel Air trim, and an aggressive stance provided by staggered Foose
custom wheels. Every panel exhibits outstanding fit and finish,
while the attention to detail throughout the exterior reflects the
quality expected from a professionally executed build.
Power comes from a fuel-injected GM LS1 Corvette V8 producing
approximately 475 horsepower, paired with a professionally built
4L60E four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The result
is smooth, effortless acceleration, modern reliability, and relaxed
interstate cruising while retaining the unmistakable personality of
one of America's greatest classics.
Supporting the drivetrain is a premium Art Morrison performance
chassis, equipped with four-wheel coilover suspension, front and
rear stabilizer bars, rack-and-pinion power steering, Wilwood
four-wheel disc brakes, and a Ford 9-inch locking rear axle.
Together, these upgrades provide exceptional ride quality,
outstanding handling characteristics, and confidence-inspiring
braking performance that far exceed anything available when the Bel
Air originally left the factory.
Opening the hood reveals a beautifully detailed engine compartment
highlighted by a color-matched firewall, Corvette engine covers,
aluminum radiator, billet transmission cooler, polished intake
tubing, Holley accessories, professionally routed wiring, and
meticulous attention to detail throughout. The same level of
craftsmanship continues underneath with a fully detailed
undercarriage that showcases the quality invested in every aspect
of this build.
The custom interior perfectly complements the exterior with
beautifully upholstered red and black seating, matching door
panels, coordinating carpeting, painted dash and steering column,
classic-style steering wheel, modern instrumentation, Vintage Air
climate control, Bluetooth audio concealed within a Wonderbar-style
radio, and numerous thoughtful upgrades that make this Bel Air as
enjoyable on long-distance tours as it is on the local show
field.
Whether you're looking for an award-winning show car, a weekend
cruiser, or a professionally engineered classic capable of
cross-country travel, this Bel Air delivers the perfect combination
of timeless styling, modern engineering, and investment-quality
craftsmanship.
