1968 Oldsmobile Hurst/ Olds The ultimate expression of the American

one-of-a-kind vehicle is a limited quality design of a unique 442
concept designed as a personal car for George Hurst by Jack (Doc)
Watson. The first year for a Hurst/Olds, very rare, only 515 were
built. Powered by a NOM 455 with 390hp and 500ft lbs of torque,
numbers matching modified turbo 400 with Hurst dual gate shifter.
Power steering with F41 suspension package with Heavy duty axles on
a 12 bolt posi rearend with 3:91 gears make this a joy to drive. 4
piston caliper front disc brakes, like what was on the corvettes,
stopped the power. Included was the W-30 package with forced
air-induction and red inner fender wells and special high lift,
long duration camshaft. Rare factory air conditioning includes the
heavy-duty high-capacity cooling package, makes the drives more
comfortable. Distinctive Hurst/Olds emblems with the unique
one-of-a-kind paint scheme of Competition Silver and Black
completed the package sets you apart from the "pack" and has all
the characteristics of the finest super car, but without
objectionable noise and choppy ride. Evolution of a winner...
