This 1970 Trans Am is being offered for sale from a private collection in Scottsdale, Arizona. This is an extremely rare find, an all original Trans Am that has had the same ownership for the past 43 years. The car has its Pontiac historical services documentation, owners manual, and the original protecto plate warranty booklet. This TA has its numbers matching Ram Air III 400 CID motor, turbo 400 transmission with its original 12 bolt rear Posi differential. This is a very original car including original distributor, carburetor and JW rally II Rims. It is 100% corrosion free with perfect metal from top to bottom. The car has had a professional restoration some years back utilizing only correct GM parts and has only been repainted once and the paint work looks excellent, very nice quality .
The interior features black deluxe upholstery, factory center console, power windows, power door locks, and a tilt steering column. This car is in excellent condition and it drives extremely well. It is hard to find cars these days that feel this good on the road. This is a very together, tight and smooth, running car with great power.
I have had over 65 early Trans Ams from 1969 to 1973 and this is definitely in the top two for drivability and overall originality .
