Scott C's Classics & Collectibles is proud to offer this 1974 Pontiac GTO. 1974 marked the 10th anniversary & the last year of production for the iconic "GTO" moniker (until the revival from down under in 2004.) This particular example is a numbers matching vehicle complete with PHS verification as a true GTO. The original Pontiac 350 V8 is mated to a Saginaw M11 3 speed manual transmission. By '74, emissions and safety regulations had all but killed the traditional muscle car. And although the GTO was moved down to the X based Ventura platform, Pontiac still wasn't shy with full on muscle car styling. A Shaker hood, Rally II wheels, tri-color striping and callouts all made sure that this car would turn heads like its ancestors did. This particular example sounds the part, too, with true dual exhaust and Cherry Bomb glass packs providing that old-school muscle sound. Build specs on the engine are not documented by previous ownership, but a mild performance cam is suspected based on the idle characteristics and power output.
