1937 Packard 1502 Super Eight Convertible Sedan
This beautiful rare Super Eight 1502 Convertible Sedan, with special ordered divider window between front and back seats, was delivered on April 26, 1937 by Eastman Motors of Stamford, Connecticut. My online research found that this special vehicle underwent cosmetic restoration with East Coast restorer Art Brummer in 2002 and was shown that same year at the Greenwich Concours d'Elegance. The car still shows beautifully with its Haartz cloth convertible top, classic deep Packard Blue with Ivory striping and replated chrome, and lovely tan leather and wood grain interior. Mileage is 67,509 TMU. The car has GV overdrive and, yes, a CD player in the glove box. Pics are included of blemishes on the hood. My love for the car inspired me to have a custom wood piece made for the luggage/trunk rack. This has been my dream car since I was 16 and runs beautifully, however, 30 years as a waiter has taken a toll on my shoulder and knee that do not appreciate driving a 5k lb car - LOL.
